In Jersey City, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across New Jersey, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Jersey City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Jersey City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

New to town, picked this dentist because of its location to the light rail. Bad choice. Donโ€™t do it. My first visit was over-the-top. Lots of technology and cameras used as a marketing tactic to show you all the flaws with your teeth. I never had braces, but my teeth are pretty straight. The doctor immediately tried to pressure me to get Invisalign to help โ€œimprove my smile.โ€ Immediate shame. Never ever tell a woman her smile is flawed. I remained self-conscious of my smile for a week after my cleaning. Next, he tells me I have 5 cavities. My last cleaning was 6 months prior from another dentist. I brush and floss religiously. How did I get 5 cavities in 6 months? They pressure me to set up appointments to get them filled. I set up an appointment for 2 of them and that was the worst experience Iโ€™ve ever had getting fillings. A young doctor did them and put so much stuff in my mouth I was near-choking the whole time. He would get annoyed when I asked for him to take out the block in the back of my mouth he was using to prop open my mouth. My head was titled back so far that I needed to swallow a lot but couldnโ€™t move my tongue due to all the materials he had in my mouth at once. Th

Horrible, horrible place for patients. They put profits over people. There are tons of other dentists in the area who will care about you as a person. I needed to reschedule my cleaning and they refused to give me another appointment that worked with my schedule until August. EVEN after I expressed concerns that I'm already overdue and this is my first time rescheduling. A woman named Marsha slammed the phone down on me when I was looking for her to help. Go somewhere else. This place is a mess and I fear it will result in dangerous implications for your health - both mental and physical

My experience at Lotus Smiles started off great but deteriorated pretty materially. The initial cleaning was nice - staff were friendly, the cleaning was quick. Then I was told by a doctor that I needed several fillings on both sides. Terrified, I scheduled two appointments for fillings immediately, one for each side. After the first appointment for the right side, I got a headache and nausea for almost two days, which the doctor explained was likely caused by the drilling and maybe some reactions to the numbing. Sure. I went in for the second appointment for the left side, and started to experience sensitivity pretty immediately whenever I chew on that side. I tolerated it for two weeks, since the dentist told me it was normal. When it persisted, I went in to check the alignment. She fixed it a bit more, and told me I should be fine. I asked why my tooth still looked a bit black. She said it's normal and I shouldn't worry about it. It wasn't. In six months, I returned for my next cleaning, and told them that the sensitivity persisted. This time, a different doctor treated me. He told me that the tooth is fine. There's nothing he could do. It might be in my head. But, there ar

I recently had a root canal done at Lotus Smiles. I walked in feeling overwhelmed, in a lot of pain, and incredibly nervous. Within minutes of arriving, I immediately felt at ease and confident that I had chosen the right place for this procedure. The procedure itself was painless, the care team was amazing, and most importantly, my tooth is fixed. I truly cannot thank this team enough for fitting me in so quickly, calming my nerves, and taking such great care of me. Dr. Milman not only executed the procedure flawlessly, but consistently checked in with me throughout to make sure I was comfortable. Five stars all around. Thank you so much. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Where do I really begin when speaking of the great experience at Lotus Smiles at first glance it has the look of a spa and the professionalism of a top-rate dental facility To me they are the industry standard in dental care. Marsha gave me a tour like I was an owner of the place and then the staff from billing to the gentle amazing care I got with my cleaning all the way up to my whitening with personal care from Dr Millman himself!! Really awesome experience!! the before care with reminders and then the aftercare to check on me to make sure everything was okay was really amazing!! Just the education I received alone on being able to really see my teeth in 3D like I've never seen before and then as the procedures went forward I was able to watch on a large screen what was going on with my care it was really eye-opening and led me to really begin to think of my teeth as a gateway for the beginning of good health for my body! While I don't have any anxiety about going to the dentist they still made me feel really comfortable with step by step explanations of what was about to happen regarding my care. The office was clean and warm friendly and inviting ,with beautiful music playing
